The Power of Friendship (Wolverine Cameo)

Jubilee's Wolverine ally is a perfect target for Cameo with his ability to heal himself, and pairs very naturally with Colossus thanks to Fastball Special. I'm hardly breaking any new ground choosing this setup, but this is my take on how to make that deck work.

Since your opening hand will be down 2 cards, I recommend getting your Colossus engine going first. Cards like Iron Will, Moira MacTaggert, Titanium Muscles, and Deft Focus are all super valuable to get out early, even if you have to pitch Wolverine or Shadowcat to pay for them. Although you don't want to end up with both of them in the discard unless you are confident you can complete Call for Backup.

Once you have at least some of your Tough engine going, getting out Wolverine or Shadowcat and then getting Sidekick on them will fuel the rest of your game. Since Colossus like to flip down regularly to replenish Tough cards, Wolverine will heal naturally, and you can heal him extra with Sidekick or use it on Shadowcat if you play it there. Start boosting their stats with Danger Room Training and Inspired and getting extra activations with Side-by-Side and you have a heck of a team going, all while Colossus laughs off damage and you occasionally get to use one of the two excellent Team-Up cards. Landing a Unified Strike and Fastball Special in the same turn is highly satisfying.

If you are playing this deck solo, I feel that Sidekick is a little stronger on Shadowcat, since you can keep her around with improved stats for handling threat.
