one I saw Meditation, i immediately thought of Nebula. A character that likes to flip back and forth and use alter-ego abilities can get some good mileage out of it. I started by looking at cost 3 Allies and supports/upgrades she could get into play.

it adds some good resource economy to Nebula. Avenger's Mansion, Helicarrier, and Nebula's ship really help to get out techniques.

decent allies also help. Getting Nick Fury on the table at a cost of one and drawing three is great.

I found i would usually alternate every turn between hero and Alter-ego, but you can easily stay in either mode an extra turn. I would tend to be swayed by when I got Lethal Intent or Combat Ready.

The deck might be a bit heavy on allies. There was one occasion where I had to discard Gamora with one health to bring in another Ally. Boot Camp could be an option for another 3 cost card to put on the table.

Honorary Guardian is included to throw on yourself, so you can play the excellent guardian allies in alter-ego mode (and using meditation).

Hall of Heroes is really great for minion scenarios. You can use your technique special ability to deal damage in alter-ego mode, and trigger kills for this to get more card draw. Follow Through works nicely too. When activating techniques at the start of the turn, you can have overkill thanks to Cutthroat Ambition and then when you trigger Weapons Master, you can deal 4 damage to kill a minion and get bonus excess for the overkill.

Interesting. Maybe this approach could bring Nebula into larger player counts where I feel she underperforms a bit.

i don't understand "You can use your technique special ability to deal damage in alter-ego mode" but love the idea

Sorry, I was vague cause I wasn't sure how to tag the right cards when typing up the write up. Combat Ready and playing Gamora both allow you to trigger the special ability on Weapons Master while in Alter-ego. It might not be the only instance, but is a rare situation of an alter-ego being able to attack.

I don't think this deck can pull it off consistently, but if you get those cards going, you could pick off some minions in alter-ego, and then trigger Hall of Heroes.

This is a really fun deck! I play mostly two handed solo, so I found myself abusing alter-ego even more and wanting to use my exhaust for Meditation. Because of that I switched out Tac Team, one The Power of Aggression, and Follow Through for Godslayer and two Surprise Attack. Godslayer could probably be switched out for something else, even. Great deck!
