This deck leans on Psylocke's Psionic tag for protection and reliable damage and thwart output.

The key card to this deck is Psychic Misdirection. This card redirects the damage from an attack against you to a different enemy. Note that you can only play it if there are multiple enemies in play, which means you'll mostly want to play this deck in multi-villain scenarios or ones with a lot of minions. In a multiplayer game you can lean in different directions to cover up weaknesses in the other decks but you probably won't be able to protect the table.

Also note that the attack is still directed at you, it's just that you don't take the damage. This means that effects like retaliate will still trigger.

This is also a Defense card, which means that playing this counts as defending against the attack. Since you don't take any damage, this allows you to trigger Unflappable, Hard to Ignore, and Electrostatic Armor. You can also use Psi-Flail Strike against the enemy that attacked you but didn't hurt you.

Telekinesis and Telepathy give you reliable ways to spend your ample resources - if you want to lean more on this, you can replace some cards with other resource icons. They can also help you clear Stunned and Confused conditions if you don't have The Night Nurse in play.

Once you have the Psimitar in play, your many Psionic cards can add some extra damage, though you can't play it until the Side Holster is out.

The deck has a lot of resource generators, but they're all restricted in some way. Team-Building Exercise works on your Psionic cards, but only in Hero form and not when you're defending. Nerves of Steel only works on your defense cards, but those are vital and expensive. X-Gene only works on your identity-specific events, but those are very strong in the right circumstances. If you have Skills you don't need - most commonly Psionic Training - Training Regimen can work as an indirect resource generator by giving you a card you can spend as a resource.

Flurry of Blades give you plenty of opportunities to confuse, so flipping every turn is often viable. You'll want to make use of that to get the extra card draw, both natural and from Moira MacTaggert when you flip back; to use Training Regimen if you have Skill cards in your deck; and for Angel's Aerie if you've taken damage.

In a single villain scenario with fewer minions, you may want to add in Armored Vest for a bit of extra DEF (though you should probably look at a different deck altogether), and in scenarios with fewer nasty boost effects you can trade out Target Acquired. If you find you have a surplus of defense cards, you can add Plan B to make use of them. Since Psychic Misdirection can be used to defeat enemies during the villain phase, Change of Fortune may be worth putting in.
