40-cards version :
It always breaks my heart to shrink down a deck, especially resources... :p If I had to though, I would take off The Power of Aggression and Martial Prowess.
Overview :
- Play Style : Multicolor Honed technique!
- Difficulty : Easy/Medium
- Power level : Medium
- Recommended Player Count : Any
- Ideal Aspect Partner : Any with a bit of thwart (and ways to protect you)
This deck should perform even better in 3+ players because of minions. But I really liked it in solo! :)
Concept :
- Play and use all the generators you can : The X-Jet, X-Gene, Quincarrier with Build Support, Bloodgem with Shopping Spree and Jubilee herself sometimes twice per turn with Utopia.
- Played Honed Technique then spam Multitalented and your big damage events. You should be able to reliably play 1-2 big red events per turn (at least !) and trigger Jubilee's Sunglasses at full potential.
How to pilot ? :
- Stun and confuse a lot, kill people, then go often in alter-ego.
- Use your allies to tank the rest as you are very fragile...
- Once Utopia is in play, you can basically play your first X-MEN ally of the turn for 1 less cost (because you ready Jubilee).
- Uppercut is 11 (8+3) damage with the Jubilee's Sunglasses and Honed Technique. Melee is 15 (6+6+3).
- Multitalented can be 5 damage, 5 threat, 2 heal. It's often a priority because you need the heal for Bloodgem and it's one of your 5 cards that can trigger your Jubilee's Coat.
Other relevant cards :
- Hall of Heroes was in the original deck but I took it off at last minute. In a 3+ players game, it's great !
- Moira MacTaggert. I simply haven't thought of her but, looking at other decks, she sure feels perfect for Jubilee.
- I tried Clobber. It was good, but the deck is already too big :/
- Resourceful because...it fits the concept :p

Jul 19, 2024Honed Techniques only works for Aggression Attack event, so unfortunately, you can not use it to boost the damage from Multitalented. If you want to boost the damage from it, you can use the Aggressive Energy card, which increase the damage from any attack event to one and is a Wild Energy, that synergise well with Jubilee upgrade. Unless I missed something, of course. |

I just saw @stilonxy came up with a similar idea (though he messed up a bit the wording of Honed Technique), but I had this deck prepared anyway and really liked playing it :)
Plus, I guess, most people will see a synergy with Honed Technique ^^
