Limbo's Diplomat

The idea of this deck is to get out one of our xmen allies preferably Shadowcat or Gambit and then an xforce Wolfsbane or Deadpool to power Gunboat Diplomacy.

Wolfsbane is our best target for the xforce side and the reason we included Honorary X-Men. With honorary and Mission Training we get her up to 3 thwart but also allows us to use Game Time to get another activation and with her ability it's also a guaranteed card draw.

Gambit can be anywhere from 1-4 thwart based off what card you pull from the encounter deck and can also be Boosted with mission training.

The beauty of gunboat Diplomacy is that we can play it off the top of the deck at no cost and then still be able to play whatever else we have in hand setting up some massive turns. Another great part of gunboat is that you can use it with Colossus the turn you play him (as long as you have an xforce character out) and still keep his tough since we exhausted him.

For example, With Gambit at 4 thwart from his boost icons and mission training and wolfsbane at 3 thwart from mission training. We can deal 7 damage and remove 7 threat all from gunboat. They can clear generation x for you allowing you to grab a Soul Strike to deal more damage or Stepping disc to get Magik another ready. With game time we can get another ready for one of them allowing Gambit to attack for 3 or wolfsbane can thwart grabbing a card from top deck.

Upside the Head is included because Magik can ready so much with Stepping Disc that we can stun/confuse very easily against non stalwart opponents.

Chance Encounter allows us to grab an ally from our deck/discard to get setup faster.

Generation X allows us to grab any of Magik's powerful events.

Build Support is to get Limbo online but can also grab Utopia.

Spiritual Meditation lets you cycle your deck faster.

The Sorcerer Supreme gives us a 6 card hand size in hero form.
