Update:After playing around with it more, Deft Focus and Superpower Training can be tossed out. Genius can be added if so desired.
Just a fun and effective deck for Pete. With the Laser Swords , Specialized Training and Warrior of the Great Web, Pete can hit for upwards of 8 damage then ready up with Stick-To-Itiveness. The web warriors can help out with Peter's terrible thwarting. Headpoolmakes more reliable thwarting towards mid to late game and will also help power up the Laser Swords. Snowguard is awesome with her 3x 3 thwart (or whatever is needed at the time. Healing Factor and Peter's natural defense will let you soak up damage and tank for your allies as needed. Between the doubles, Pool triples, and resource generators, you will have more than enough to fund everything. Anything left over can be funneled into Blackout. I like having Deft Focus to pay for Enhanced Spider-Sense to block any nasty treacheries or for [Swinging Web Kick](/card/01005. Ghost-Spider will help recur #backflip or spider sense. Black Cat with Sidearm is always a good time, hitting for 2 damage without consequential damage or retaliation, excellent for pinging Tough's as well.
So far, this deck defeated expert Magneto with flying colors and was so much fun to play. What's not to love about Peter with lightsabers??
Bonus: This deck can be pretty easily repurposed for other heroes, swapping out web warriors/avenger cards with Xmen worked well for Magik against expert Red Skull.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news @MarkMarvel88, but Deft Focus cannot pay for Enhanced Spider-Sense because activating it during your turn means that when your turn ends you lose the reduction of the next super power you play before the villain phase begins. So by the time a treachery is revealed, your hero doesn't have the chance to take an action and the effect of taking the action during the player turn has been lost.
It still works for Swinging Web Kick
Other than that, this is a cool mix of Web-Warriors and 'Pool aspect
