Step Brothers

Had alot of fun with this deck, the basis being to draw Loki out and make him an ally!

Once out, Loki has decent stats at 2/2/3, however it doesn't stop there! With a few more cards, you can keep him out in play, in effect neutering Shadow of the Past if its ever drawn!

Bringing Loki around

Try and get Show of Empathy out as soon as you can - Manifold can help with this (along with 2THWT if you need it).

Hopefully you then draw Face the Past, in which you can ready Thor, draw three cards, bring out Loki...and draw an additional 2 cards!

Infiltration can help to then thwart off 4 threat from Show of Empathy and in one fell swoop, Loki has been redeemed!

More than just Tricks & Kicks

Now, you don't want to use up Loki chump blocking, or leaving play from consequential damage...there's plenty more Loki can do to help Thor.

Once you draw Honorary Avenger, slap it on Loki for an extra hp and the Avengers trait. As with the other Avengers trait allies, consider exhausting Loki once you draw Earth's Mightiest Heroes to give Thor another chance to wield that hammer!

S.H.I.E.L.D Helps Gods

I've added Interrogation Room and The Raft to the deck for helping out with threat as well as feeding Thor minions if needed. This of course is for the all important card draw that Thor gets whenever engaging minions.

Although not specifically for stated on the card, I like to think Interrogation Room is run by S.H.I.E.L.D after the heroes defeat them...leave it to S.H.I.E.L.D to get the intel!

Under Surveillance is another card I associate with S.H.I.E.L.D..they help Thor by keeping tabs on the villain and their devious machinations.

Godly Reprieve

Upside the Head is in the deck because a) you want Thor basic attacking as much as possible, and b) adding Upside the Head allows Thor to flip down if need be. I typically lean heavily on Thor's hp, so after a while I need to flip down to recover.

Smarter than he looks

We all know Thor is a master of his powers, so naturally Deft Focus should be part of his kit. Should you play Lightning Strike, its an easy way to pay for the card, allowing you to focus on pooling resources for maximum impact.

Heroic Intuition is not essential, but it's handy to have especially if Thor gets two activations through an Earth's Mightiest Heroes... Remember, we want to free up Thor so he can basic attack for 3ATK (with Mjolnir ), but there may be times where you need him to thwart if the scheme start to get out of hand. I wouldn't prioritise this, but if you have both your God of Thunder upgrades out, consider adding Heroic Intuition.

Conclusion

Lay the Trap has also been added but moreover to play after Show of Empathy...it's a card you can use as an extra resource if you play Manifold...or put it out and do as it says on the label...keep it out and use it as the final burst of damage to defeat the villain.

NOTE: If you want to keep the deck down to 40 cards, I'd suggest removing one copy of Upside the Head, The Raft or Heroic Intuition, dependent on the scenario you are playing.
