Nebula is one of my least used heroes and I find it challenging to build decks for her. I've been scarred from years past where I played against her in Expert Mode for Solo Champions League. So, in an effort to heal from these wounds, I've built this deck. Shoutout to Winning Hand podcast for the deck prompt.
We're going to utilize Press the Advantage to maintain high tempo and control the villain through status conditions with staples like Drop Kick and various allies. It's important to prioritize Plan B to minimize wasted cards we may draw from our events or Cybernetic Upgrades, provided we end the turn in hero form.
Dropping Cheat Codes
-
Build your board state with 5 resource generators, including the option to 'cheat' in Quincarrier with Build Support.
-
Prioritize your Techniques and flip every turn, if the situation allows, to take advantage of Cybernetic Upgrades and a larger hand size. This allows your teammates to take advantage of any stuns you dropped before flipping and gives you an extra turn for bigger Lethal Intent plays.
Game Guide
- Don't sleep on Combat Ready. It's a massive tempo card and another reason to flip often.
- If you have limited resources, you may be faced with the brutal option of choosing between your techniques. Go for the ones that can impact the board state at the time. It's also okay to hold one until the next turn to take advantage of Cybernetic Upgrades.
- Your allies all have a purpose, so utilize them wisely for activations and status conditions.
- Rocket Raccoon, Hand Cannon, and Cutthroat Ambition help clear minions that have been softened by plinks from Plan B or Press the Advantage.
If you've shunned Nebula in the past, hopefully this deck can give you a reason to play her again! Let me know what you think in the comments below.

Cool looking deck! I've been experimenting with her more in red lately and I'm beginning to think aggression is secretly the best way to play her. It gives her a lot of tempo she normally lacks, and her hero kit gives her a lot of tools to deal with villain shenanigans. I definitely with your tip about using your allies with intention. They give her some much needed board stability and you don't want to waste that.
I'll have to give this deck a shot.
