The 2026 updates are as follows:

• Added 3X copies of "Avenge Me!" which came in the Hercules hero pack.
• To make room for them I cut...
  • Command Team
  • The Triskelion
  • 1X Inspiring Presence
• I replaced Superpower Training with Evaluate Threat (also from the Hercules pack) to provide another way to tutor Coulson.
• I replaced duplicate copies of Counterintelligence and Spycraft with 2X copies of Chance Encounter for additional ways to tutor Coulson.

The Loop:

• Get Agent Coulson into play. Several methods include:
  • Play him from hand
  • Make the Call for him
  • Call for Backup him into play
  • Tutor him with Evaluate Threat and pay only 1 for him
  • Rapid Response him back into play
• Agent Coulson finds Rapid Response
• Play Rapid Response
• Attach "Avenge Me!" to Coulson
• Thwart for 2 with Coulson, then use him to defend the villain's attack.
• When Coulson is defeated:
  • Rapid Response puts him back into play with 1 damage
  • He finds the Rapid Response that just put him back into play and puts it in your hand!
  • Draw 2 cards with "Avenge Me!" which allows you to play that Rapid Response again.

Project TAHITI

Warning: This section contains spoilers for the The Avengers movie and the Agents of SHIELD TV series, so if you haven't seen them (?!) and don't want to be spoiled quit reading now.

In The Avengers, Phil Coulson was killed by Loki. Prior to that Coulson was head of Project TAHITI, which was a way to bring a dead Avenger back to life using alien DNA. He advised Fury to end the program because of some terrible side effects, but when Coulson died, Fury used TAHITI to bring him back to life, despite being dead for seven days!

That's what this deck is about, bringing Coulson (or any ally) "back to life". Coulson specifically though because he provides his own reanimation loop, which I outlined above.
