"I Am Not Some Starry-Eyed Waif Here To Succumb To Your Pelvic Sorcery!"

The deadliest woman in the galaxy has come to Marvel Champions and she's out to slay her father, The Mad Titan. To get to her father, she has go through Ronan first, by defeating all of the villains in The Galaxy's Most Wanted Campaign. This build will leave Gamora bleeding green and red, as it is intended to beat the Expert GMW campaign with expert villains. Let's death jump right into it --

“Whatever Nightmares The Future Holds, Are Dreams Compared To What’s Behind Me.”

Gamora is extremely versatile in this build- inflicting damage, removing threat, and stunning or confusing the enemy. She does it all! The key upgrades she wants out are her two Keen Instincts and a Martial Prowess. These three resource generators help pay for FREE Drop Kicks and Concussive Blows every turn, which will either stun or confuse enemies so you can plan for which form you and your teammates will want to be in for the villain phase. There's plenty of "strength" resources in this deck to help pay for these two cards, as well.

Counter-Punch is a zero-cost 2 damage and 1 thwart (using Finesse) during the villain phase. This is the better protection card compared to True Grit and First Hit for villain phase interrupt as those two actually hinder you a resource during your upcoming turn, and roughly have the same impact (3 points of THW or ATK). Not to mention, Counter-Punch provides a strength resource for when you need to pay for Drop Kick and Concussive Blow. Crisis Averted is the final off-aspect card. It's useful due to the amount of threat removal needed in the GMW campaign and how many side schemes have the Crisis Icon. Nebula allows us to search for this card in times of need.. or in times of crisis, I should say.

“We’re Just Like Kevin Bacon!”

Gamora will most likely defend every turn, unless she has an ally to defend for her which is somewhat fine because she mainly plays events and doesn't use her basic powers often. Keeping Groot alive just to defend small hits is great because he can heal back up the damage soaked. The beauty in this build is if Gamora does lose a lot of health she can restore it quite easily-> Combo-ing the Follow Through upgrade which adds 1 point of excess damage to attacks with Moment of Triumph, Gamora can heal back her own health quite well. Since she is always pinging off free damage by way of thwart and her Precision ability, she can get minion health very low. And even lower if Gamora's Sword is in play. After whittling down minions, she can land final blows with Into the Fray to remove a lot threat from the main scheme and use Moment of Triumph to heal. What a Wombo Combo! Angela is here if we're lacking in minions, which is not a likely scenario in this galaxy.. but she is a free ally and defender, as well. Rocket Raccoon and Spider-Girl also help deal with minions and defending against attacks.

Hall of Heroes lets us get huge turns after we've defeated a few minions and are flipping back to hero form!

"You will Always be My Sister."

Let's give a little overview of how she plays in the Galaxy's Most Wanted campaign. Up against Drang and the Brotherhood of the Badoon- there are tons of minions for Gamora to utilize excess damage on, whether it is to heal or to remove threat (Into the Fray). For the Collector 1, this build is very event focused so she won't be contributing much cards to The Collection. Just make sure to always remove cards from The Collection and get your key upgrades out, so that the extra resources lost each turn are not too much of a hindrance. This queen doesn't just wombo combo damage, she wombos threat, so she can do a lot of thwarting vs The Collector 2 or even help flipping the villain every round with attacks. Nebula and Ronan are a little harder, because they have a few cards that grant them stalwart. Focus on setting up with your cheap upgrades and maintaining low threat on schemes. Try to coordinate with your team to get rid of Ronan's Universal Weapon so that your stuns and confuses work. Defeat Ronan. Something something something. $$$. Wait for Thanos' expansion to come out so you can slay and fulfill your destiny.

“I Have Lived Most Of My Life Surrounded By My Enemies. I Would Be Grateful To Die Surrounded By My Friends.”

Gamora is one of my favorite MCU hero's and I'm really glad her kit is so versatile in terms of pulling off combos with her Finesse and Precision abilities in both phases of the round, and her deckbuilding allowing for multiple aspects in event cards. This build can be, of course, used in other scenarios besides The Galaxy's Most Wanted and I encourage you to do so! I hope you enjoy using this deck and being the deadliest woman in the galaxy. Thanks for reading. Please let know if you have any suggestions or comments!
