Like most Adam Warlock decks, this build is designed to be a toolbox that gives you a ton of options based on the scenario and how the game progresses. I exclusively play multiplayer, usually 3 player, so this deck doesn't need as much dedicated threat removal or get as much value from stun and confuse effects, so keep that in mind for use in solo play.
The initial idea was to try and build synergy around the "energy resource matters" cards from the four aspects. That skeleton is still there somewhat, but the list evolved from "good stuff with energy" to a variety of different sub-packages below to utilize.
Like all Adam Warlock decks, the strategy is to build the board until you get 2x Mystic Senses and Warlock's Cape out before you start burning away cards from your deck and using Quantum Magic to selectively pull cards back from your discard pile as needed. Once your core setup is in place, the deck has all the tools to control the game before setting up its win condition of burning cards into damage spells and hitting with big, buffed up Allies.
Side Scheme Package One Way or Another + Spider-Man / Chance Encounter / Followed
Damage Mitigation Package Jocasta + Shield Spell / Side Step / Defiance, Med Team, The Night Nurse
Minion Removal Package Valkyrie, Lie in Wait, As One!, Followed
Giant Allies WinCon Package Captain Marvel or Sentry with Honorary Guardian and Energy Spear kept upright by Battle Mage, Team Training, and Med Team and help set up with Quinjet and Make the Call
Crowd Control Package "Think Fast!" and Captain Marvel provide a confuse or stun if one is needed, but since this deck is meant for 3+ player games, stun and confuse effects are devalued as a toolbox priority
Stat Buff Package Armored Vest, Heroic Intuition, Combat Training, Morale Boost With the leadership option for Battle Mage providing a boost for both the hero and villain phases, and Warlock's Cape allowing us to activate twice a round, having buffed stats to get the most out of our activations is a priority.
