This deck is part of Project Post-con: building a ready to use deck for each existing hero, just using the available card copies of buying each pack once. This does not only enable fast pick-and-play, but it also makes each deck feel unique, as not everyone is using the same powerhouse cards. Each deck is intended to be fun and usable in expert mode, but none will be the absolute strongest possible due to the card limitations. Looking for other decks? Search for the Post-con tag.

Project Post-Con Build 2.0

Completely new deck since V1.0

She leads the avengers commando style, with this super fun heavy swinging leadership deck. No wait... that was the intro for the Captain Marvel Sneak Attack deck last Post-con build. This is is a new generation, in which a chaotic witch summons, expends and re-uses her avenger friends. Do you think they are even aware what is going in? Wanda Brings quick deck cycling and Chaos Magic to put in high-cost allies and wild leadership combo's. So watch out villains, there's a new witch in town.

RESOURCES

We want a lot of juice for this deck, so as (almost) always, I included the basic three resources. The Power of Leadership has enough targets with expensive allies, Rapid Response or any of the leadership supports. And Wanda's deck cycling ensures you'll never have a dead hand.

ALLIES

Your allies hit hard and fast, meaning they are quite expandable. As a result, I have included quite a few. Most of them are optimised for high cost and high ATK/THW:

  • Quicksilver works great with this deck as a fast-burst, high cost ally. Combined with Command Team he can activate 3 times upon entering, so definitely worth a Sneak Attack. However, he has high value to stay, as he grants Wanda yet another card draw in alter-ego.
  • Goliath likes to boost his stats high to get as much use out of Command Team in one go. The combo with Sneak Attack does wonders, as he gets discarded by his own ability anyway.
  • Black Panther is a must to get the combo's out. His targets are Sneak Attack to help summon more or Save the Day when in a pinch for thwarting. Yes, targets are limited, but Wanda cycles her cards so quickly that you will always see either in your discard.
  • Captain America is a great target for Go Down Swinging, but with the high ally count, you can likely also get him on the field cheap with or without Sneak Attack
  • Falcon is also great value for a sneak attack for his entry ability, taking some chaos out of the equation for Wanda's core hero kit.
  • Captain Marvel closes of as a great tribute to the previous holder of the Sneak Attack style in project Post-Con. Her ability has decent, though not very high, potential of stunning in this deck composition, but her starts alone are worth it for big burst Sneak Attack turns.

UPGRADES

  • Honorary Avenger is for Wanda herself. Once equipped, it opens up her style for more alter-ego turns, without losing the avenger trait for Mighty Avengers or Sneak Attack.
  • Rapid Response makes sure you can keep your expensive allies you snuck in. Just remember, discarding an ally doesn't trigger it, so it has to be killed by consequential damage for this to work. Also works great on other targets that didn't get in by Sneak By, as the high cost allies are typically well-worth getting back.
  • Magic Shield is great to protect Scarlet Witch when you don't want to chump your allies yet. And don't forget, especially allies with double consequential damage can get a free activation too in a pinch, such as for a final burst turn with Goliath and multiple Command Teams.
  • Scarlet Witch's Crest finally gives some more control, especially for her powerful core hero events, which we'll get to later.

SUPPORT

  • Agatha Harkness is a better Avenger's Mansion to improve your insane card draw to pull of the needed tricks in this deck. A great card to mulligan for.
  • Command Team is key to play. Often it is most useful to have a few in play and activate them in the same turn for some burst with Goliath or other snuck-in allies.
  • Mighty Avengers makes sure you get the most damage or THW from each ally action and Team Training ensures you often get an additional high-value action (e.g. 3 attacks with Goliath through command teams). Don't forget Mighty avengers needs an avenger trait on your hero too, so Honorary Avenger helps.
  • Vigilante Training works great with Wanda's love for alter-ego and the insane value of recycling Summoning Spell.

EVENTS

Her events mainly split into two categories: Leadership events for sneaking in your big allies and Scarlet witch events for crazy powerful chaos. Early game, you'll want to favour on building on allies. Later game, bursting with your chaos will help you close:

  • Sneak Attack is the key card to get the expensive allies out faster than usual.
  • Summoning Spell is great, as it is a huge cost reduction on any ally you end up with. This is the single best card to get back with Black Panther.
  • Chaos Magic is a better Sneak Attack, as the ally stays, at only the small price of speeding up the encounter deck.
  • Go Down Swinging gives a good burst near the end, but often uses through command team give more value.
  • Spiritual Meditation cycles your deck at a pace only mystics can, to ensure you always have a playable hand.
  • Hex Bolt is your power card, typically serving well at any outcome.
  • Molecular Decay is good for quickly finishing the game at the end, with major damage potential.

In conclusion, the villain won't know what hit them, as powerful avengers spawn out of nowhere all around. Pure controlled chaos!

Seconding the question. Will we get a new round of decks, with all the spider heroes?
