Venom has been recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D as their new top agent. Nick Fury is getting old and someone's gotta take his place, it might as well be the guy attached to a Symbiote. S.H.I.E.L.D also provided Venom with some firepower in the form of his weapons. Venom is one of my favorite characters to play and in my humble opinion one of the strongest. Does he really need S.H.I.E.L.D? No he doesn't but he's a soldier and soldiers need someone to point them before they shoot. The premise of the deck is to get Venom's weapons online and then use your S.H.I.E.L.D allies to deal big damage or thwart and then chump block if need be. The S.H.I.E.L.D cards can be expensive but luckily Venom is resource rich with his ability to take a damage and have a wild each turn. We also have several p.s.s such as Build Support, Superpower Training and Call for Backup to get your board set up quicker. The targets for Building Momentum are Sky-Destroyer to do damage each time you play a S.H.I.E.L.D card or Helicarrier to make your cards cheaper. If you've already gotten set up you can target Command Team which has proven to be super useful in this deck. Nothing like playing Nick Fury drawing 3 cards and then getting to swing twice. Superpower Training is in here to to get Venom weapons if you don't start with the one you're looking for. "Welcome Aboard" is crazy good in here, Maria Hill can be payed for by it and allies like Nick Fury or Agent 13 become much cheaper. I've added in First Aid to heal Venom or to keep some of the allies out. It's pretty great to have Dum Dum Dugan swing for 3 or thwart for 3 and them ready with Command Team back to back turns. Endurance is in here just to offset the damage you do to yourself from his special ability as well as Clarity of Purpose. Call for Backup is great because you can pull allies like Nick Fury out of your discard pile and still get his effect. Overall it's a really fun deck and the ability to play high cost cards repeatedly is a lot of fun. So far I've been able to demolish mutagen Formula, Venom, mysterio and took 2 out of 3 from Venom goblin. Hope that if you give it a shot you have as much fun as I did and any feedback would be appreciated. WE ARE S.H.I.E.L.D

There’s definitely some really cool synergies here! My favorite part is how many allies come in so cheaply when set up, and first aid to keep some of them out is awesome!!

@andyr I really appreciate you checking it out! That was my whole reason for trying out S.H.I.E.L.D with Venom, he's so resource rich and his kit isn't too expensive so I figured getting those allies out regularly would be pretty easy. First Aid wasn't initially in here but after a couple of plays I swapped it in and it made a world of difference. Having Agent 13 continue to ready Helicarrier or Dum Dum Dugan getting a ton of damage is really rewarding.

I like this a lot - I love how you've managed to make those big Shield allies work in the deck, very clever! I'm excited to try this one, thanks for sharing it.

You could consider grabbing a Rapid Response for when Dum Dum Dugan goes down...Getting him back "straight" immediately (for 3ER) at 4HP is super.

@Sluggie I appreciate the suggestion, I might have to give that a shot. I considered it but hadn't tested the deck yet. After seeing how easy it is to play allies I'm sure it would it would work well
