This definitely is not meant to be played against a Stalwart villain. This was made with multiplayer in mind, but is probably fine in solo due to all of his stun/confuse/tough cards that he can put out. The design goal of this deck is to allow Miles to play mostly his hero cards, while also playing cheap aspect/basic cards that will synergize with playing attack events.
All allies cost 2 or less. Grant Ward is "free." Even if you have to pay two mental resources to keep him from betraying you, it's still 2 or less. Thankfully, mental resources are the most plentiful type in this deck. All the other allies will draw you some number of cards when they enter or leave play. So, these allies will help you with thwarting or attacking as necessary, then block. Ironheart, Moon Girl, and Nick Fury, will cycle out cards you don't need, for ones that better fit your situation. If there are no stuns or confuses, you could cycle Press the Advantage or Arachnobatics. If you have more than one Clobber you could cycle that. If you don't have any minions that need killing, you can cycle One by One. Jefferson Davis is pretty mediocre. Especially, in a multiplayer game. Get him cycling.
This deck focuses on doing very efficient damage in somewhat small doses. Part of this comes in the form of Fluid Motion and Aggressive Energy. If you pay for any attack event with Aggressive Energy and then plan on attacking, you've gained 2 extra damage (three in the case of One by One if you defeat an enemy). Over the course of the game, this should add up. Probably doesn't sound great on paper, but if you play Press the Advantage on a stunned/confused enemy with Aggressive Energy, you will deal 3 damage for net 0 cost and can then attack for 3. The goal is to play an attack card every round you plan on doing a basic attack.
Since we have 12 attacks in this deck, Plan of Attack can help us cycle through our deck more quickly (to get to the best cards again and again). It will also, likely, cycle itself out for an attack event. Due to Double Life and confuse statuses from Swing In/Defense Mechanism, we should have no trouble flipping to alter-ego. This is great because it allows us to shuffle hero-specific attacks back into the deck, making Plan of Attack to be more likely to succeed. Additionally, if we pop down to alter-ego with Double Life, our Plan of Attack is more likely to get cycled out for an attack and we still have the option to flip back up. If we were able to play an attack event before using Double Life and then flip back up in the same turn, we get double the value of Fluid Motion.
His economy is great. We have 4 double resources. We also have 5 resource generators (Avengers Mansion, Helicarrier, Martial Prowess, and two Web-Shooters). Try to save your Web-Shooter for paying a physical for Double Life and energy for Web-Shot. There are a lot of mental resources in the deck for Moon Girl and Swing In. A lot of this deck is pretty cheap, so you should be able to do a lot every turn once you have some resource generators in play. Miles is pretty impactful even if you can only play one of his cards.
Hope you have fun with the deck!
