Welcome, prospective hero. I'm Maria Hill, (She/Her) DEI Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. We are looking for a new class of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents who promote DEI: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The more diverse you are, the more welcome you will be on our team!

Whether you are

  • Mutant: Beast, Domino, Kid Omega, Gambit, Pixie, and Phoenix;
  • Wakandan: Black Panther;
  • Giant: Giant-Man
  • Vampire: Blade;
  • Android: Vivian;
  • Bird: Hugin & Munin; We want you to express yourself; the more diverse you are, the better. Our most diverse agents are Vivian and Hugin & Munin. If you are a Mutant, and you want some extra diversity, be sure to bring your Children of the Atom card. We also have a non-discrimination policy and will recruit Double Agents such as fellow agent Grant Ward. (Just don't ever turn your back on him when I'm at low health). Our training program will allow all of recruits to increase their diversity when they become automatic S.H.I.E.L.D. agents whenever I am on duty as S.H.I.E.L.D. director.

DIVERSITY

We recruit diverse agents via our Diversity Special Funding, our Helicarrier, our Support Staff, as well as my private funds using Clarity of Purpose. [Believe me, that type of private funding hurts me personally. Through a Government grant, we use the $5 billion Helicarrier, The Circe, to recruit new agents at any moment's notice. Our The Triskelion HQ can assure we won't run out of spots on our team.

The purpose of this team is to use our Strength in Diversity to protect the world from threats and villains. The more diverse our team is, the more we can save the world. Our Mutants benefit from Children of the Atom to increase our diversity.

EQUITY

No team member will be treated more favorably than any other. If you show up for Field Duty, you will be activated. No one is more senior than any other agent. We are all the same. If we have the resources, we will put you in the field. And thanks to Former Director Nick Fury's request to the President, we have requisitioned an additional Helicarrier, Sky-Destroyer to ensure all of S.H.I.E.L.D. supports are treated equally in harming our enemies.

INCLUSION

Even if you were originally passed to be placed in the field, you will be put in the field if you are the right person for the job. After evaluating our situation, I will Make the Call to include you if you are the right fit, and we have the resources. And once you are in the field, not only will each agent use their able-ism to express themselves, our two S.H.I.E.L.D. Command Team will repeatedly assist you in getting you ready for action.

Policy Updates: In field testing, to express our Strength in Diversity, we needed to revise our former DEI policyy to focus on a more diverse team, we did not need our basic resources and allow us to recruit those team members with Make the Call instead of Strength In Numbers.

Update from DEI Director Maria Hill: Former Director Nick Fury wanted to let all agents know that in using Strength in Diversity, you count the diversity of each character, and not the total amount of diversity. This allows greater diversity and greater damage as all characters, when I am in command and not in my personal life, also are SHIELD. In field testing, we can get up to 21 damage to our enemies for using 2 resources.
